Subatomic Physics in Canada
Welcome to Subatomic Physics in Canada

Subatomic Physics is the the study of the most fundamental constituents of matter - of everything we see around us.  The curiosity that drives this field of research is the same as that felt by any  schoolchild with a magnifying glass:

   - What are things made up of ?
   - How are they held together?
   - How do they work?
   - Where do they come from ?

What's New
  • The NSERC Long-Range planning committee has prepared a detailed report outlining the perspectives on Subatomic Physics in Canada for 2006-2016 (Updated March 12, 2007).
This report is now available in English and in French.
  • A non-technical brochure entitled "Exploring the Subatomic Realm - Subatomic Physics in Canada" is now available in English and in French.
